Please join us on October 18, at 10:15 am to learn about Drip Irrigation: A Greener Approach to Watering by EMG Rob Mortko. His presentation will cover the evolution of drip irrigation concepts and the practical application in the home landscape, including a hands-on approach to the various system components involved in the design and installation of a drip irrigation system. Rob Mortko has been a Johnson Country Extension Master Gardener since 1999 and has served on its Advisory Board. Having retired from an engineering career, he now pursues his own plant tissue culture business in Olathe. Rob’s passion for gardening includes shade gardening, roses, and even turf grass. He has served on the Executive Board of the American Hosta Society, on the board of the American Hosta Growers Association, and as a Contributing Editor for The Hosta Journal. He is currently President of the Midwest Regional Hosta Society.
